In patients with poor function of the levator muscle, the connection of the eyelid to the frontalis muscle is the most frequently performer surgical procedure.
Fascia and tendon grafts are most often used to connect the eyelid to the frontalis muscle. However flaps from eyelid and Teflon tapes are increasingly used for this purpose. The author in his article presents the possibilities of surgical treatment of patients with drooping eyelids, presenting the advantages and disadvantages of the presented methods.
