Summary: In order to improve the visual acuity, the corneal transplantation is performed, which restores the corneal clearance or its shape. Although in many cases, despite maintaining a clear donor button, the quality of vision is restricted by postoperative refractive errors, including irregular astigmatism. In such cases the refractive surgery can be helpful. This type of surgery includes many procedures recalled in this paper. Besides them, also own results of the laser refractive surgery in the donor button are presented.
