Summary: n the course of diabetes mellitus among various systemic abnormalities associated with hyperglycemia, there are disturbances in the organ of vision. This work shows the ocular complications in children with type 1 diabetes. It discusses the common disorders in the anterior and the posterior segment of the eye, refractive errors and their effect on visual function.
