Summary:
In this paper the author presents ethiology, signs, symptoms and contemporary therapheutic approach to ocular demodicosis using combined topical solution of terpinen-4-ol, salvia hispanica oil and aloe vera extract. Ocular infestation both with Demodex brevis and Demodex folliculorum is a very common ocular pathological condition in human with morbidity significantly growing in elderly. The choice of proper medication and persistent therapy enables to decrease the population of these mites. Even without its total eradication this leads to improvement of topical condition of eyelids and ocular surface and frees patients from their troublesome complaints.
