Summary: 

Determining the implantation axis is of key importance when implanting toric intraocular lenses. Any deviation from the planned axis worsens the patient’s visual acuity and increases the dependence on eyeglass correction after the procedure. Currently, there are many solutions available on the market, both manual and automatic, supporting the surgeon in the correct and stable determination of the implant axis. The paper presents currently available methods that can be used in daily practice.
