Summary: Aesthetic medicine is rapidly developing branch of medicine. Growing number of aesthetic procedures make the rare cases of adverse effects more significant both to patients and the practitioners.
Ocular side effects though seldom, may lead to severe disfunctions, including permanent vision loss. Because of iatrogenic character of the majority of those complications, articles on the subject seem to be highly important for everyday clinician practice. The authors have gathered their own experience together with interesting case reports from available publications.
