Summary: The study presents the division of the orbital fractures according to the location of the damage. The causes of ophthalmic disorders with particular focus on eye mobility are listed. We outline the basics of dealing with the patient in the early peri-traumatic period, indications for orbital reconstruction and treatment options in the late post-trauma period in case of persistent diplopia.
